Event Description:
During Media Literacy Week, put down your digital device and pick up a newspaper to discuss and debate current events with friends and classmates. Students in the Journalism Department’s newly-created Jour 365 News Literacy course are facilitating a news salon in the Oviatt Library Commons. Come hang out between classes to learn news literacy strategies and exchange your perspective about politics, culture and the arts.
