To complement the Media Literacy Week Film Festival, Kendra Hodgson of Women Make Movies and Alexandra Peterson of the Media Education Foundation will moderate a conversation with Dr. Katherine Sender, director of “Beyond the Straight and Narrow” and Lindsey Averill, the co-director of “Fattitude.” The panel conversation digs into how these filmmakers approach their subjects, and how educators can bring these films and filmmaking into the classroom.
