The modules are available free online at: https://digital.apa.org/misinformation-effect/#/
These evidence-based online learning modules equip learners with crucial psychological tools to recognize and resist misinformation. Drawing from a well of psychological research, these interactive modules help young people understand why our minds are susceptible to misinformation and, more importantly, how to strengthen their defenses against it. This resource focuses on the “why” behind misinformation susceptibility, rather than just the “what” of fact-checking. By understanding the psychology at play, young people can develop deeper, more sustainable resistance to misinformation.
