DESCRIPTION:For the opening event of the 10th Annual U.S. Media Literacy Week\, NAMLE is partnering with Thomson Reuters for a half-day event on the importance of visual literacy and photography in journalism\, especially when covering conflict. Join this event to hear from working and student journalists to hear how they approach coverage and capturing conflicts ranging from the Israel-Hamas war and student protests on college campuses. The event will conclude with a hands-on workshop on visual literacy and media.
