DESCRIPTION:The Misinfo Day California Media Literacy Event is for 10-12th grade high school students to learn how to distinguish between fact and propaganda\, build critical thinking skills\, and become civically engaged. The day will begin with a new interactive game designed to help students build and practice core media literacy skills by collaborating with each other.\n\n\n\nThis year\, Professors Nolan Higdon and Jeff Share will be keynote presenters. Co-sponsored by the Monterey County Office of Education\, the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public\, University of California\, Santa Cruz\, and others. Modeled after the annual event at the University of Washington
