The Painted Church

The Painted Church is a slide presentation for classroom use with students 14 and up. The slides are modular and packaged with guidance on adapting the resource for your students’ needs. Students will strengthen communication skills with this opportunity to practice recognizing the difference between facts and opinions, and dissecting and investigating subtle linguistic signals. In short, this is a start to learning how to probe media to uncover facts and expose misinformation.
Previous training in student-centered Constructivist Media Decoding is useful but not required.
